Estimator/Project Manager

Fundy Fencing in Saint John, N.B. is presently seeking an individual for the position of Construction Estimator/Project Manager. This is a full-time permanent position. Fundy Fencing provides year-round installation, service and products to construction, government, municipal, commercial and residential clients.

Responsibilities:
– Site visitations throughout Southern New Brunswick for estimating and site inspections
– Plans reading and take offs for estimating
– Develop and prepare quotations as well as estimating and bid preparation
– Crew and job coordination including safety assurance
– Quality and inventory control
– Customer service and order processing
– Project management from start to completion
– Maintain quality client relationships including follow ups

Qualifications and Skills:
– Must have a minimum of two years or more industry experience
– Supervisory experience an asset
– Business Degree, Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent
– Must be able to organize and prioritize efficiently as well as meet deadlines as required
– Excellent written, verbal and presentation abilities are essential
– Must demonstrate professionalism and ability to be productive in stressful situations
– Bilingualism an asset
– Access to a vehicle and valid drivers license required
– Sales experience and exposure to the construction industry would be an asset
